Help Protect Migratory Birds and the Places They Need

Birds across the hemisphere are facing unprecedented challenges. Together we can act to protect them and the places they need to address those challenges.

Birds tell us that it's time to act on the conservation challenges they face, from climate change to habitat loss. Birds are the canaries in the coal mine. They are telling us that their survival—and ours—depends on healthy natural spaces and clean energy to curb the effects of climate change. It’s not too late, but there’s no time to lose.

As the Bird Migration Explorer shows, there is no shortage of places and challenges that need our attention. There is also no shortage of hope, beauty, and joy in the birds we love. Birds bring us happinessin so many ways—especially in uncertain times.

We have ways you can help, starting in your own backyard and reaching all the way to your elected officials. Join bird lovers across the hemisphere so we can act now, together, to protect birds and the places they need.
